Std.By the Gujarat State Textbook Board Changes from 229 textbooks of 1 to 12 will change from June 2013. According to information provided by the education department sources, most of the courses in Gujarati and English medium will be enforced by NCERT.

At present, books are being translated by teachers and special care has been taken to prevent any errors or defects in it. Textbooks of Marathi, Urdu, Hindi and Sanskrit medium of standard 1 to 12 will be changed. In the medium of Gujarati, standard textbooks of standard 1 to 12 of 37 books and English medium have been prepared recently, together with standard 9 to 12 and standard-2,4 and Akila 6. The NCERT syllabus will be implemented as the students of Gujarat are weak in the examination conducted at the national level. So, 229 textbooks will be new in all mediums with Gujarati, Urdu, Marathi, Sanskrit, Hindi and English. While NCERT courses are being implemented in Gujarat's schools, in the new academic session of the year 2015, the education board has been telling the changes in 229 books in all the mediums of Kennedy, The Gujarati medium will change the standard books 9 to 12 and together with standards2, 4, and 6, 37 books will be changed. When 54 textbooks of standard 1 to 12 textbooks will be applied in English medium. Students of Gujarat were facing difficulty due to the selection of examinations conducted on National Level from the NCERT textbooks. Because, there is a change in the course of Gujarat board and NCRT. After this, a decision was taken to teach NCRT books in the Gujarat board. There are 229 books in English, Hindi, Gujarati, Urdu, Marathi and Sanskrit medium. 54 books in English medium, 66 in Hindi medium, 37 in Gujarati medium, 23 in Urdu medium, 21 of Marathi medium and 23 books of Sanskrit medium will be changed. It is worth mentioning that most of the topics including mathematical science, biology, physics, chemistry, social science, environment are being implemented directly by translating NCERT. The State Education Department first decided to write all the books to the teachers, which examined the teachers of various subjects in the state and on the basis of which the subject experts were selected. But later it was decided to translate the NCERT books. After that, all the efforts are going on in the direction of this new and changed books being implemented by June next.
